Default SC2 Totalled

Well i think my car is done for. I was sitting at a stop light and was rear ended by a Jeep Wrangler with a ram bar on the front. He hit me probably doing about 30-40mph. Im fine (thank God) and didnt recieve any injury from the crash. I havent even had the car for a year yet and I hate to see my saturn go. Im looking at possibly an 2gen SL2 for my next car. I found a guy whos selling one in my area so ill call this weekend and take a look at it. A pic of the wreckage is attached

Holy Smokes! Glad to hear you're okay, but don't sign any agreements with his insurance company for at least a month. You may have back or neck injuries that will take some time to manifest and present themselves. That sucks about your car, but it is just a car and can be replaced. Members of the forum can't. I'm glad to see you're going to stick with another Saturn too. Maybe you can purchase what's left of yours from the insurance company and use some of the parts or sell them.

Ayup -- looks amazingly like the pics of my wife's '98 when she got plowed in pretty much the same manner. Punted her car completely through the intersection. She was a little shook up, but no physical damage (thank goodness). Kid's daddy had the car rebuilt to nearly showroom new conditions (over $7,500), and he paid it out of his pocket cuz junior had no insurance. Talk about enabling ....

Yeah all is well.... i went and got my belongings out of it this morning and the guy at the collision company was shocked by how much damage the car had. He though that for sure that i would have been injured in that crash
