Default Ridiculous things I hear from modded car owners

"My oil pan is leaking, thats why I'm down on compression"

"I don't know why I smell coolant in the car, I deleted the a/c and all the vents under the dash"

"Fwd cars are awesome to drift"

"Why do I smell so much gas coming from the exhaust?" Well. Larger fuel injectors and a straight piped exhaust with no tune will do that

Some people. Smfh
I'll have more later.

That Turbinator air molecule alignment device is the best $99 I ever spent. The air flow sounds smoother. I hooked it up both ways it doesn't even matter which way it spins

It's the horsepower boost from The Turbinator . Causing so much more power. That's why my cat is glowing red

My new cold air intake and fartcan muffler added 25hp to my car!

Literally just got asked "when I get a new oil pan and fix the leak, think I'll get better gas mileage?"

I'm so done

Is said oil pan for a slammed Civic? I was stuck behind one with crazy negative camber doing 35mph on the GSP a couple years ago because I guess he/she didn't want to trash the oil pan.

I have to admit that I once thought ridiculous things too. When my childhood friend got his first car (1972 Buick Apollo); we got a biggish cam, single plane intake, and a full exhaust because we added up the extra hp each individual component claimed to give and figured we would have something when it was all said and done Needless to say we were disappointed with the results, but it did sound cool after a local speed shop figured out the Holley HP carb (I think that's what he got).
