Oil Dipstick Handle broke below O-ring. How to extract rest of dipstick?
For clarification, acting up in this case would refer to plastic shards getting into places they shouldn't inside the crankcase. I don't think I left any behind. I don't remember what I put earlier in the thread but once I extracted the dipstick remainder, I took an Allen wrench and wrapped hockey stick tape sticky side out round and round. Then worked my way from the bottom and around to the top of the hole. Whole lot of crap came out which is better than a whole lot of crap falling in. I love hockey tape because it grabs on to just about anything, especially itself and the adhesive stays on the tape so you can pick up crap like this quite easily. Man I miss my street hockey days in high school.... Still have the sticks I played with from back then.
