Default My poor little Saturn

My poor little Ion got damaged the other day. Was driving down the road and all of a sudden there was a lake size water pond covering 2 lanes and no way to avoid it. Slowed down as much as possible and rode it out and landed head first into the barrier at about 2 mph Damaged bumper and headlights but no people hurt. Did not make me feel much better but at least 3 other people had same problem Oh well

Sorry to hear that. Important part is that no one was hurt.
Cars can be repaired.
Not always the same with people.

Man, that sucks, but like derf said, at least nobody got hurt. AND it didn't blow the airbags! That's a bonus.

took it apart and had to replace both of those plastic things that hold the headlights and one headlight, one foglight and the bumper support so I was lucky and not too much cost to repair

I did that in my previous car, an old Nissan Altima, and went nose first into a tree. Airbags didn't blow, and I was just fine. But jumping a 5 inch curb squared a wheel and the tree did in the bumper, hood, grille, A/C lines and bent some radiator fins. Glad everyone is ok and the Saturn will live to drive another day!
