Default Getting car across the country

I recently moved back to the west coast all the way from florida. I thought about driving my SC2 back but i didnt wanna put the miles on the car or run the risk of breaking down somewhere out in the sticks... so i decided to have it shipped back. The first company that i went with never found a truck driver to get it from point A to B, so i cancelled with them. I found another company and they picked up my car this past thursday night and made it here by 11am pacific time. Im quite impressed that the driver made it here in such a short time. I was expecting at least a week or so... thumbs up to that driver. I missed driving my saturn

I had an old E30 transported to LA last year and the transport made it there in about 5 days. Those guys earn their paycheck for sure.

M50 engine and everything haha, its just hard to find one in good running condition that is worth a purchase. ANd yes those truck drivers definitely will get my business again if i need another transport

If i remember correctly, it was like a $200 deposit up front, then once the car arrived it was an additional $750. Kinda steep, but you would end up spending more money if you tried to drive it yourself across the country, gas, food, hotel, etc. I think its worth it though since i didnt have to put an excess of 3000miles on the car

The E30 I had was a full M3 (S50) swap with a bunch of suspension goodies. They are cheap and everywhere so you can build one fairly cheap, especially with an M50.
