Animals is quite good. Used to be my favorite until I discovered some of the ones you don't ever hear on the radio. I like Meddle but don't own a copy.

Dark Side is indeed a masterpiece but indeed has been beaten to death by airplay.

I finally know what you mean by disco beat, Jamnar. On the "Another brick in the wall" parts. If never really struck me as disco until you pointed it out. I kind of think Waters was going for that unwavering monotonous percussion sound but it ended up mixed too far forward and indeed sounds disco y

 

I would have to say The Dark Side of The Moon, but I do also agree with your point up above. That album was beaten to death (probably still is) by airplay
