Default Cold Weather

Brr. It is unseasonably cold here in Middle TN. Not happy with the cold front that those up north sent us, what were they thinking??? Anyone else ready for spring yet?

Wasn't too cold in Winter Haven, FL this past week. Left this morning at 4:00 am central time and got home at 5:30 pm. Almost 800 miles. Not too bad when I got home. It was 43 degrees. Weather in Fl this past week was great. Lows in the upper 40's and highs in the mid 70's. I am NOT going to miss the cold here once I move.

I've been in Denver all week. Coldest was high of 3 with a low of -11. I lived in Wisconsin for 7 years so personally I love the dry crispness of the cold air when there is no wind chill. I've lived through colder and am proud to say my saturn started up with a momentary groan at -22 back in those days...... No block heater.....

Denver? Out partying?
My baby starts right up too. Remember now, we purchased her brand new when we lived in New York still, so this 45-50 degree weather is a cake walk for her.

I sure don't miss the sub-zero temps we had in MN, I do remember starting up the truck when it was -40 and still going to work. No matter how you slice it, that SUCKS. 3* to -11* already in Denver? Yikes, even for there it seems a bit early for that low.

Global warming my @ss. DH says we didn't move far enough south.

In December, my niece and her DH will be coming up from much warmer climes to visit family. Her DH has never been in really cold weather, will be a shock for him. Not so worried about the baby, they'll be able to wrap her up so she doesn't feel a thing
