amsoil?
Billy. I thought you said you had no interest in s cars. Or did you just mean for messing around with.
It's driving me insane that I want this vehicle, which predates my marriage, to go to someone who appreciates what it is and will keep it alive for at least 3 months. In reality it is a pile of metal, plastic, fabric, and dirt, and it doesn't matter what I want because that's not how life works.
I just finished helping a dirt track racing team diagnose and fix a 97 SC2. They are out in Jersey. I tried to sell them the car as a spare but now that's ****ed. Interestingly, he doesn't want it for parts. Yes, it's stripped. I mean operational parts.
Sorry for the pre morning wiz threadjack which has rearranged my immediate priorities. I'll be in touch.

I'll tell you what, derf. The next time you come visit your niece in Atlanta, just drive it down and I'll take it off your hands. I'm sure that I can find a subframe at a junkyard here in Alabama and eventually get around to replacing it. I'll tag it and drive it when I get to go on solo missions, like when I have a doctors appointment or just have to run a few errands without the wife or daughter.
Messing with them. Be a great platform to eco swap. But thats not going to happen.
I think you forget I had a 92 sl1.
I can't afford to pay for you to take a trip down here right now though. And get you back.

I wasn't going to ask you to pay a cent to get down to Texas. I was trying to find someone to trail me and bring me back to avoid the airfare. Or I could hitchhike. I still have bandanas somewhere. Don't know about the hobo stick.
I might have a companion woman whose husband lives in Houston. What town are you in?
At 35 miles to the gallon highway even with today's gas prices it's only 120 bucks each way times 1.
I need to do the title transfer the right way If you know what I mean. Temp reg in Georgia for temp tags then you take to Texas? I will certainly pay the goofy Georgia part if we do it that way.

Longview. About 5 hours north of Houston. 2 hours east of Dallas. 1 hour west of Shreveport, Louisiana.
Both parties do not need to be present in Texas to transfer a title. Hell, you dont even need to transfer the title to register it here.
Not sure how jersey is, but louisiana, illinoise, and texas have a perferated section on the title that you sign and turn into the state yourself when selling a vehicle so if the new owner doesnt transfer immediatley, you are not held liable for anything that can occur with new owner operation of said vehicle.
I cant take the time off work to drive to jersey. But I could probably make anything else possible if falling on a weekend.
Im poor if you guys havent figured it out.

Being I dont listen, I went ahead and registered to become a dealer. Received my kit yesterday with some samples and guides.
No, I am not trying to get rich. End goal is to build a hybrid turbo eco car as a track car and use for marketing.
With how cheap I am, minimal parts will be new. Junkyard turbo setup would be relatively cheap. And at that point all fluids would pay for themselves. I'm guessing I could do a 2.4 bottom end, 2.0 head with a saab snail for under 500.
other option is just a lk9 setup.
anyway, that'll be a different convo for another time.
Essentially keeping my day job paying bills and putting back for a house.
Main objective is focusing online a few hours a week until I decide a business name, get cards made, etc etc.
Then I will start going to shows/meets/tracks.
Want to keep from using personal accounts best I can to avoid any personal conflicts that may affect business. I've pretty much stopped using Fakebook and instacrap. But the past is still there. It is the interwebz afterall.
Yes it will take some work to get the ball rolling. But once rolling, I'm free to sell to anyone in the world. And the car will be free to hit any track I see fit to run at.

Renewed my dealership today. And amsoil announced a price decrease to help with the economic instability we have going on. That's nice of them!
If anyone is interested in learning more, just ask or message me!
I have several people on board, and one retail accounts that is a power sports shop. Pretty nifty! Also offer commercial accounts if anyone runs a business or a fleet!
