A Solstice blew past me on I -95 on the way down to Philly today.

Hoping I would finally meet Rj, I gave chase on my 95 SC2.

Though I could not match the acceleration in between the moving traffic jams of slower vehicles, i enjoyed the graceful steady acceleration in 5th gear and the speedometer reaching 95 with the engine growling, the wind noise howling, and grunge music blasting through the stock speakers. I was on his bumper as soon as the road gave me the opportunity.

This lasted bout 6-7 mi before traffic got too heavy

Felt good....

 

Thank goodness, you weren't in Virginia -- we'd be taking up a collection to buy you a cake with a file in it .....

 

Rj is one worth meeting, but he drives a Solstice. You gave chase to the wrong nut case.
