Congrats
Pretty stable pic for driving 70 mph... |
Congrats! Got a 94 SL1 with 260,000 miles, original clutch.
|
Far out, man! Only 300,000 more to go! Then you can rebuild it and go another 500,000.
|
congrats! I remember how pumped i was to hit 100k with my saturn lolol.
ill be seeing 200k out of my diesel by next year :D |
I just got to 200K last month, and I'm hoping she doesn't start breaking down on me. How often do older Saturns make it past 200K, 300K?
|
The SOHCs tend to last longer than the DOHCs. 300K+ is not unheard of.
With anything that old, you're going to start having issues w things like wheel bearings and bushings, and all the other things that are original but do have a finite lifetime, like starters and A/C compressors and fuel pumps....to be expected |
I've already done the front bearings, all four struts and springs, all four wheels and tires, a heater core and a radiator, a refilled A/C system, ignition cylinder, muffler, mirror bracket, brakes shoes and disks, and a bunch of sensors. Most important of all are new front and rear badging!
