Recall from GM
This morning's headlines featured a massive GM recall for ignition switch problems. In part the text read:
The recall now affects 1.37 million vehicles built between 2003 and 2007.
In addition to 778,000 Chevrolet Cobalts and Pontiac G5 cars recalled earlier this month, GM (GM, Fortune 500) is also recalling Saturn Ions, Chevrolet HHRs, Pontiac Solstices and Saturn Sky models for the same issue.
This has to be a massive undertaking if you consider the number of these cars that are probably on their third owners.
In the time being it is being suggested that people do not use a key ring with more than their ignition key on it.
It is things like this that make me wonder in all reality the logic of some of these decisions.
