Radio OLE Display disappears

Radio OLE Display disappears
I am a new member so take it easy on me. I have a 2006 Saturn Ion that I gave my daughter. When the radio is on the OEL display flashes and often disappears.
The Radio still works but you don't know the station you are on etc... Sometimes when I push the plastic holding the radio in, it will fix itself. Probably a short.
If anyone has any ideas I really would appreciate it.
