Default newbie here

I may be buying an '07 Aura XR. I will know for sure tommorrow. It has 39k on the odo, and is in very good condition. I was looking for a '08-'09 XE to replace my '07 Malibu Maxx, which has been a disappointment. I had planned on owning it until I got roughly 140-150,000k on it, but it rides like a buckboard and "problems" keep popping up, so it's going. This car had 3k on it when I bought it in '07, so I was in for the long haul with it, but unlike the Lumina that proceeded it (150k when traded in) this car just doesn't cut it. I always liked the stlying of the Aura, and had not planned on buying an XR due to the price difference, but this has a XE price, so i'll see what happens. I have seen a couple of questions answered already in other posts, (I too was looking for a power upgrade) though I'm not sure I need it. As the XR has the "caddy 3.6" I was wondering what the differences were for the h.p. gap. I also saw that the warranty is good for 5/100k same as my Chevy, but I was not sure after the GM bankruptcy and loss of Saturn and Pontiac. Any problem areas that I should look out for?

I will be picking up tomorrow! It is cashmere w/morococo leather (heated) sunroof & rear stereo controls for the back seat passengers. This former Saturn dealership is including lifetime engine warranty & brakes. Makes me think that something that GM did when eliminating the brand....I'll take it!
