I am from Central Wisconsin (Wisconsin Rapids). Picked up this little gem for $400.00 because it had Transmission Issues. looking forward to getting this cleaned up by next summer, Giving this to my daughter for graduation.

I think the guy kept it on the side of his house. but he definitely kept it clean.

I replaced the valve body on the trans and it is shifting so smooth i can not feel it shifting anymore.

 

Welcome to the forum. That's a sweet $400 car, man. And the TAAT4 transmissions in these cars are of poor quality. I like the design, but the weak valve bodies have put too many in the scrap yard ahead of their time.
