Just joined the forum. Bought a 2008 Astra. Really like the car, fun to drive. I live in Williamsport, PA.

Welcome to one of the two active Saturn forums that I'm aware of. I'm not familiar with the Astra's, so won't be of much help if problems arise. Just letting you know ahead of time.

Rube,

Statements like that are why the stock in Saturnforum.com is consistently in free fall. Granted we have no active Astra owners but we do have active minds with which to solve problems or at least try. I believe there are four active genl Saturn forums

Your best bet is Saturnfans.com. three zillion users, five people who know what they're talking about. Many have field service manuals for their car and there are many Astra known issues and common problems that they will know about off the top of their head. I don't mind looking them up, but you will likely find their assistance more rapid and full of detail.

That said, you are of course welcome to stick around.

Sorry about that, derf. I'm just being honest. And do you mean that I'M welcome to stick around or the newbie? I don't have to, you know.

Now Rube,

There is no stock in this forum.

You were being honest and so was I.
I've razzed you much worse than that

2011 is when you joined.
You've been Saturnless for at least half of that and you have been welcome every day and you know it. Which includes yesterday, today, and forevermore.

You and the new dude are welcome to stay around.

---------

Rube knows more about engines from 40+ years of shade mechanic ing then I will ever know before I die.

Nuff said.

Haaaaaahahahaha. I've forgotten more than I care to think about, derf. I can barely remember the principals behind what makes one work anymore. Seems like the dementia and old timers disease is creeping up on me more and more. Or maybe it's just the heat and humidity of this God forsaken state I live in?? I don't think I've ever even looked inside and Astra.

Nor have I . I believe I have seen two on the road and the only Astro post I remember on this board has to do with strange MAF sensor issues.

Hey, new guy, you still out there?

And there is no Saturn category, which is why all posts containing the links to your site have been removed from the forum .

Why is this tagged onto someone else's new member thread? If you have something Saturn related, start your own.
