There is nothing wrong with "For Cheap" It is a phase cars go through before they become collectable.
And then only if there is enough interest in collecting them to either favor the value or to insure that hard to find parts are either findable or in reproduction and at the moment that has not really happened.
I have a 94 coupe that I really like. I repainted about 4 years back and made a mistake that caused the clear coat to come off after about 2 years of looking pretty good. I now know what not to do but have not got around to re-doing it yet. I did finish though having the interior re-done as the exposure to the sun and the heat pretty much tore up the top of the seats and the head liner. It has a little over 100,000 miles on it and is a driver in terrific mechanical condition.
