New Guy
Hi all,
I just graduated from university and bought my first car-- 2005 Saturn Ion.
I must have test drove about 10 cars over the past few days, but nothing felt as smooth and powerful (in my price range
).
Have to say I love the car, and enjoy that there are forums for enthusiasts.

Here are a couple pics from the dealership.
I did a little research and you're right RjION, anything before an 05 has been questionable apparently. The sticker price was a little over 10k , but they had brought the price down to $8990 Canadian a week before I bought it (it has almost 60,000 km on it).
It still had a year left on the warranty, and they even offered to replace the keyless/auto start for free. I guess it was off lease and they had some problems with the auto start-- they then removed it.
I'm very happy so far-- all the other cars that I drove (under $9000 pre tax) seemed under powered. I like the 140 hp, and really felt the difference between the ION and a Rio or Accent, etc.
