New to forum 2002 SL2 hello
Hello all,
My first day to this forum. If it's anything like SaturnFans forum then I'm in the right place. I wasn't a member to that forum. I guess when I found it they had already shut down joining it. Anyways, I have owned 2 Saturns and still own the 2nd one.
I currently have a 2002 SL2 with almost 300 thousand miles on it. I love my car. Sometimes it really has me at a loss but I don't think I would get rid of it unless I found another in better condition or it completely dies. I do threaten him (yes I drive a dude not a female car) that he's going to the junk yard at times but hey I love Saturns too much to do that. My other Saturn was a 1994 SL2 loved that cast so much til some dumb lady hit me and busted my head gasket (long story) fixed that myself. Then another problem accured and at that point I was done. Kept it for 2 years before I finally sold it to a junk yard and it broke my heart (hence keeping it for 2 years not running).
So back to my current SL2 when I bought him I don't think anything has ever been replaced on him since factory. Since then I have changed everything regarding cooling system except condenser. From hoses to radiator. Changed heating core recently. Just a few days ago changed ignition switch and lock cylinder. Which brings me to joining this forum. So there you have it. I believe I have to go to another thread to post my issue, so hope to see you there and hopefully help me with my issue...until then see you around and gave a great day everyday!

Welcome to the forum. The older I get, the dumber I get about cars because they become more and more complex, so I won't be of much use to you. However, we have a dude named derf that has learned a TON of stuff about the S series cars over the years and can pretty much help you with whatever you run into. And if he doesn't already know, he'll break his neck trying to find it out for you. He's tenacious, like bulldog!
Welcome.
Pay no attention to the Rube in the corner. I do what I can. I also answer Ion questions and get them wrong about 95% of the time, so don't buy an ion and ask me stuff about it.
Again, welcome
