Thanks folks!
Wish it was mine...... That's a pic from a car show I went to this year. I know it's cliché, but those 69-72's SS 396's really do it for me. I know I will likely never own one in any condition but that's one of the reasons you go to car shows.... to appreciate the attainment of the dreams of others -- and if you're lucky, you stumble across your own dream...in the metal.... And a "thanks" to Rube for not calling me on the charade :) . Rw, there's a healthy but not overwhelming amt of shenaniganery on our site; it's all in fun, and we talk Saturns very seriously when people need our assistance. This wasn't a joke pointed at you -- it was pointed at myself b/c I was envious of your Riv and the regulars around here know I don't own a Chevelle. So please stick around |
Well, you got me good on that one. Now don't try to tell me that you have a new Peterbilt. I will, however, believe everything you have to say about Saturns. Thanks.

Someone around here does have a Peterbilt.....
Rube, was it Howie? I don't think so...... |
Yep, pretty sure it's Hoseppi. And remember, old truckers never die, they just get a new Peterbilt!

Since I have two posts to go, let me ask a question - has anyone had a problem with a "rattle" from their Saturn engine bay? Sounds like a loose heat shield to me. It is definitely not the engine.

I actually have all the crap in my sig plus 4 more. It is a pain to back down the driveway.

Have you safely gotten under the front of the vehicle while running to see if it might be a cracked piece of protective plastic on the underside of the front of the car? |
Thanks for the suggestion. I haven't been able to check it out yet - probably this weekend when it cools down to 90 degrees. I will get it up on my ramps and see if I can pinpoint it. I just turn the radio up now.
