I've been without my Astra for the last 5 days. My daughter (no longer at home) was not impressed with my purchase of a Saturn -"what were you thinking Dad?" - This did not stop her from borrowing the car for a while. Well to her surprise she likes the car - loves the 5 speed which none of her friends are capable of driving - is this the end of an era? What's fun is you rarely see another one on the road. While I don't think it will ever be collectable it's nice having a unique car. I didn't trade in my old 95 BMW 318i as the dealer couldn't give me fair market value. It took a while but I finally sold it yesterday for considerably more than the dealer offered. I'll try and post some pictures in the next few days however my uploading skills leave something to be desired.
