Default Just bought a new-to-me Saturn!

Hello everyone! Just bought a 2007 Vue. It is a V6 with AWD with 66,000 miles. I am already in love with it. This is my second Saturn. Had a 95 SL in high school. It was bulletproof! Looking forward to many years with the Vue!

I wish you all the best of luck with your Vue. Is it stick or automatic? If automatic, I'd keep a special eye on it for problems. I know some of them had some pretty substandard ones for some reason.

It is an automatic. I took out a 3 year / 30,000 mile warranty plus the dealer I purchased from has a 3 month / 3,000 mile power train warranty with every used car purchase. I would hope I am covered if anything does happen. Oh, and I believe in doing car maintenance religiously.

Looks like from you other post concerning your brakes, you're going to need that warranty very soon.

Looks that way. Lol. I am hoping it doesn't come to using the warranty since I just bought it less than a week ago. Hopefully the dealership will make a customer for life.

Hello and welcome to the site. 2007 VUE didn't have the dreaded VTI trans so no problems from that. VTI auto trans was gone as of 2005 from what I remember.

Thanks John Doe! I am pretty fond of it already. Sw2cam, it has the v6 with 5 speed auto. Wonderful power train from what I can tell so far. Lots of power and smooth shifts.

Thanks for the info SW2CAM. I knew they'd gotten rid of that crappy transmission, but wasn't sure when that transpired. I used to "date" a girl from Shreveport. She worked at Norgas. Her name was Faeda, but she went by Scooter.
