Has anyone ever took the drivetrain from a 2005 Vue with the Honda 3.5 and put it in an older model 2003 that had the Opel 3.0. I would like to do this and I don't know if the wiring from the fuse block would be compatable. I know the engine wiring would be different but would the wiring from the firewall back be the same.,,,,,thanks

 

 

I am sure that I would have to change the body control module but everything iside the car is pretty much the same. Even the cluster will work. I was hpoing that I could unplug the engine wires from the fuse block and maybe everything else might work. My 05 has been wrecked beyond repair but I have a great motor and transmission. I also have the 03 with the crappy 3.0 Opel with a beautiful body. Or either sell both for scrap iron. Thanks for the reply
