I am the new owner of a 2007 Vue. 3.5 V6 AWD. 290000 Km. I picked this up as a replacement for an old commeter beater i had that died. I will preface this by saying that this is not the fiorst one of these i have had. I owned a similar one previously.
Anyhow, this one is high milage, but the J35 is still in great shape and the transmission shifts smooth and predictibly. I have already done rear shocks, springs and spring insolators. That dealt with the rear end issues. I have new front struts, brake disks and pads, lower control arms, tie rod ends and stabilizer links in boxes waiting fort instalation. that should deal with some from end knocks i am having, i also have a complete Timing belt / sepentine belt / water pump kit waiting to get installed. i might do a tensioner pully as well, but there is little or no noise coming from the pullies so im not to worried about it. Im a Millwright by trade so i really dont have an issue with doing my own repairs. LOL. they are pretty simple compared to the stuff i do at work.
Good times, I do love these things tho. they are the best of the GM stuff, combined with an "old reliable" drivetrain from honda and no rust plastic panels thrown in for good measure.
