Default Hello

Hey what's up everybody? Just wanted to introduce my self to the forums. I just bought me a 2002 SC1, 5 speed with 120k miles from a buddy of mines that works with me. It has a check engine light so i hooked up the tech 2, and it's got a lean code. What it is is that the intake gasket is leaking, easy fix i think. Best part is i got it for $1000..I'm happy about this because i had been looking for another car to use as my dd. I own a mitsubishi eclipse gs-t, and I hate to keep putting miles on it. I've read that these cars are great on gas, 35-40 mpg? I'm tickled to death since on my eclipse even though it gives me around 27-29 mpg, I still have to put premium gas on it.

Welcome to the forum, dude. And those mileage estimates sound pretty accurate. The 95 model I have gets between 35 and 40 mpg depending on how we drive it. We being me and my 21 year old son.

Well that's a great thing about the mpg, all i have to do is replace hat intake gasket and a few other things and she will be on the road
