Default The Everlasting 93 Saturn

I have been looking around this forum for a few day now just to see how many miles people are getting out of there Saturn.I bought my 1993 Saturn 3 years ago for 750$ and the only problem it had was 3rd gear was gone(5 speed)but I drove it for over a year like that since its my work ride and its all interstate driving.Put a new trans in it last spring and thats all I have ever done to the car other then tires,oil,brakes,ect...The odometer was broke(stopped at 208,000)when I got the car and the guy I got it from told me it was like that when he got it and that he had the car for about 1 year.I drive about 60-80 miles a day so I'm not sure how many miles this car has on it but it doesn't use oil or smoke and it has never even sputtered or anything, runs like a new car.I'm also not sure if its a sc1 or a sc2 but o well...1993 Saturn sc? SOHC 5 speed tbi 4 door. Its got zero power but dam is she a dependable ride enuff rave about my Saturn, cool forum btw, lots of good info on here.

either vin swapped or trans swapped... guess which is easier...lol

EDIT: but then again, swapping a trans is far more legal than swapping the vin...

Well the vin on the door is the same as the one on the dash and when I put the new trans in it it wasn't a junkyard trans that I took out or at less it was all original stuff in there as far as I could tell, clutch, flywheel and such all looked original to me,all the bolts and stuff looked like they was never touched since factory but there is no telling I guess.....

Welcome

It has a trans swap. The car didn't go down the entire food chain with the wrongs trans. Chit like that is illegal for the dealer back to the manufacturer to sell a new car with an incorrect VIN.

its a 4 door so it is an SL or SL1 (they had the SOHC engines)
The SC series are 2 door coupes.
