Yes I know that the cable showing in post has a fusible link the other shops around here do not know what kind of cable it is nor do I and neither one of them or I can find them online I have no clue where to get motor scooters with the fusible link or can you just replace the fusible link and if so how do you do that.if in to help if anybody is confused I personally did not get the jump I gave somebody a jump and my cables on my and yes we're hooked up right. His battery was in his trunk. But he did hope the cables under the hood of the car but I don't know how.

Have someone check the cable for proper continuity to see if the fusible link is good or bad. If it is good hook it to the correct post on the starter, the one the the battery cable goes to. If it is bad have an alternator/starter shop build a new cable with the correct fusible link and install it correctly. Quit jump starting other people. In all my years I have never seen the cables hooked up incorrectly at the starter the way you described.

This sure looks like a cable that connects to more than one other component besides the battery.

2009 Saturn Vue positive and negative cable assembly

Here is the part info

Not cropping at 1:00 a.m. when I should be asleep instead of looking this up.

The fusible link is not listed separately.

Your existing wiring contraption from the battery should look like this. If it doesn't it's been hacked in which case we have no idea what you have under the hood.

Please see if the picture corresponds to what you have or at least part of what you have
