Jesup, Georgia (PRWEB) May 1, 2007 -- The Saturn Extended Warranty division of Roberson Pontiac-Buick-GMC in Jesup, GA is once again extending its support for the VFW National Home for Children and our nation's military members and veterans during the month of May.

May is National Military Appreciation Month. It's the perfect time to say "thank you" to the men and women serving our country.

So Saturn Extended Warranty has joined forces with an ambitious high school student named Shauna Fleming. Shauna wanted to say "thanks" to the U.S. troops. But she didn't want hers to be the only voice they heard. She wanted the volume of hundreds of thousands of voices. Maybe even more.

As founder of A Million Thanks, Shauna has led a year-round campaign to send a thank you letter to every single member of the military. Her goal was a million letters-and when her millionth letter was collected, the President invited her to the Oval Office to thank and congratulate her. Today, Shauna has collected over 2.6 million letters.

Now it's our turn.

Saturn Extended Warranty during the month of May will be collecting thank you letters to send to our active military at their location in Jesup, Georgia and online to as an email with your letter to GMWarrantyMillionThanks@gmail.com. Sales Manager, Chad Albertson was quoted as saying: "We wanted to show the men and women in the military that we support them and what they're doing".

In addition, Saturn Extended Warranty will be donating a portion of their May's General Motors Protection Plan (GMPP) proceeds to the VFW National Home for Children. "This small effort is the least we can do", Albertson said.

Since 1925 the VFW National Home for Children has been providing for the children and families of our nation's veterans, while at the same time serving as a living memorial to our nation's heroes.

A Million Thanks is a member organization of America Supports You, a Defense Department program that highlights and facilitates Americans' support for the nation's service members.

Saturn Extended Warranty sells Saturn Extended Warranty service contracts direct to consumers looking for GM Protection Plan (GMPP) coverage: Major Guard, Value Guard, or Basic Guard at considerable savings to their local GM dealer. For more information please visit www.extendedsaturnwarranty.com

I called this outfit. They told me they could NOT help me. I'm a veteran and my car was less than 3 years old with less than 36,000 miles.

Why is it gmwarranty has not posted on the site for some time. I wonder what's up with that. I see them post on a site that is hardly used by anyone other than spammers.

Maybe because you hurt their feelings by calling them out.
