Hi, I put a new window motor in my friends 96 sl2(front left) Now, When I roll the window down it won't go down all the way, (it sticks up about 3 inches) The window rolls up and down smoothly.

I can not figure out, why in the hell it won't go all the way down [img]smileys/smiley5.gif[/img]

The new motor had a pink mark on one of the bolt holes, The pink mark is facing away from the car and the motor is vertical with the gear below it.

Dose anyone have any idea what is preventing the window from going all the way down?

 

is the regulator still good, it could be getting bound, take the door panel off and watch for obstructions.
