turn signal bulb

I have a 2003 Ion & about every 1-2 months my left turn signal bulb goes out.

What brand bulbs are you using? A lot of things can cause premature bulb failure. Most likely has nothing to do with the car itself.

there is a recall for installing a resistor and bulb if it is a sedan not the coupe

Thanks for your input.
The bulbs are bought at Napa or Kragen. Saturn told me those should be ok.
I called Saturn & I had the recall done in '05. Saturn's only suggestion is to pry out the connectors for a better contact or come on in for the dealer service charge, since my car has over 100K miles.
