I thought of the v-tech after the turbo on the original. I wish I as well had a dollar for every smart ass remark or every time someone implied that something will not happen. Just because you've heard it a dozen times doesn't mean the end result will be the same in every case. Anything can be done with the time, money, patience, and know-how.

Smart ass remark......I think not. Your just another of 200 dozen that get on forums and say your going to do this and going to do that. If your going to do it you first need to get out of your chair and head out to your shop. So get moving and get it done, no time to be sitting on a forum blowing smoke.

I'm in the design phase right now. Unlike the other "200 dozen" that say they will do something, I don't just jump right into it. I plan things out. Design, cost, and I time it all financially so that it will fit my budget. As said, my project will be over a course of a few years. I'm currently having to put it up on the rack at the shop today to figure out what to do about my tranny. It has to stay running stock before I can even begin to mod it. It takes time. I get on these forums to gain the knowledge and advice of others. Not to read about how I appear to be just be like another dozen of people who don't follow through. That's not me. I will have my sketches up in a few days. Parts list and time goal will come shortly after.

It is what it is....if you get into this I'd love to see the progress. You work at a GM dealer and I'm retired from GM. So I'd like to see someone (like you) locate a 2.4L or SuperCharged 2.0L ecotec stuffed into a SW/SL/SC Saturn of any year. That would a hell of a lot cooler than honda. Look around, there is a person that says he has put an ecotec in a s-car. You might be able to locate a video on youtube.

So lets see if your going to be added to the 201 dozen or not...

You, sir, have a bet. I was going to do import, but we'll take the Eco route. The turboed ones they put in some Saturn sky's look pretty mean. I will do my research.

Supercharger uses less room, and if you go turbo the Cobalt setup is already "front wheel drive".
