transmission

I have a 2000 sl1 that i have replaced valve body in trans about 50,000 miles ago now it has started to shift hard again and now has a high pitch whine as u accerlate but shifting has then switched to more of a slipish slow shift. Any help appreciated

You sure you have the gaskets sealed and is the dip stick pushed in all the way?

Yes changed fluid and filter .Still has whiney noise and shifts hard

Does the whine change with the throttle? Does the whine go away in park and neutral? Can you change the whine with the throttle in drive with your foot on the brake? There may be crap in the governor or the throttle pressure system might be sticking.
