Speed Sensor issue

My service engine soon light just came on at the same time my speedometer stopped working. Someone told me it probably is the front right VSS - speed sensor. One, where is it located and how hard is it to replace and two, any other thoughts.

the speed sensor is about thirty dollars...i thought i was gonna hafta replace mine but didnt have to... my first thought is check your fuses... ill look in the morningfor the speed sensor...it looks like a big plastic nut bout the size of your pointer and thumb together if you wanna look for it... good luck hope i helped[img]smileys/smiley12.gif[/img]
