What does a red rectangle with a down arrow in it mean on the dash? Mine just came on.

Look a little closer at your indicator, and you''''ll see it actually represents the coolent level bottle for your radiator. When it comes on, it means that your coolent level is too low. As soon as practicable, stop and make sure you have the proper amount of fluid in the coolent bottle. Fill if necessary, making sure to be careful of hot fluid and high pressures.


If you find that you have proper fluid level, then the possibility exists that the sensor has failed, or that the electrical connection plug is loose.


If everything appears to be good, replace the sensor. Personally, I''''d go to a local u-pull-it yard, and get a used one they are one heck of a lot cheaper than a new one from the dealer. Good luck ...Edited by: OceanArcher
