sw2Cam is right -- it never left the factory that way.

The barcode label you show is the serial number of the after-market remote starter system. Systems like this normally require a separate keyfob to operate. Factory keyfob's won't get it done. You are going to have to do some "sherlocking" under the hood, under the dash, and possibly in the trunk of your new (to you) vehicle, looking for a non-standard package. Once you find it, there's a good chance that the manufacturer's name will be on the box.

Armed with the manufacturer and the serial number, you should be able to contact the people that make the remote system, and purchase a fob from them .... good luck.

Of course, all of the above assumes that the original owner didn't remove the start system prior to the sale .......

ya know there might be a reason that the owner didn't give you a remote start fob (like it doesn't work...)

buyer beware........

well i bought it from a used car dealer lot so he may have never been passed the key fob when it was traded.2 previous owners as well so who knows .
i can get a key fob for it for under 30 bucks shipped on ebay so its not gonna break the bank to test it .
