Default Is it possible to upgrade alternator to deliver more output for other uses.

I have a 98 Saturn SL1 which need a new alternator.

Is there another model that I can make fit, which produces greater than a 90 amp output? I am creating an art car, and would like to power other devices.

Thanks!

I'm sure it is, but i came up with diddly on a search for one that is a direct OE style replacement/direct bolt on (and this uses a standard lentgh serp belt, etc.)

Try these guys (call)

www.alternatorparts.com

know nothing about them but they do mention saturn on their home page

but that could just be for search engine rankings

please let us know if and where you find one

An art car. That sounds so exciting.

What is an art car? Is it like a traveling exhibition of multiple artistic renderings integrated into the car? (like audio, video, graphic arts)????

?
