Default Oil Filler Neck/Cap Leaking - 2005 Ion 1 2.2L Ecotec

Says all in the title. My '05 Ion 1 is leaking oil from the cap/filler neck and I'm not certain how to fix this. It's wobbling really bad, but I can't get it to pull out or anything. Pep Boys said it was leaking from there and they didn't have the part, but if I could find it the fix would be a simple yank it out and shove in the new one, so I ordered the neck with the seal and a new filler cap/seal just to be sure. But I can't figure out how to get this filler neck/extension off, 'cause it for sure isn't yanking or twisting off. Some things I'm reading are talking about needing to go in and mess around with the cylinder head or the valve cover gaskets? But that sounds unnecessarily complex. Help?

On my '04 Ion, it's a quarter turn counterclockwise, then pull straight up. If it seems stuck, pry up around the edge with a trim remover tool.

The clip tool method did the trick. Thanks man!
