Ok figured I could update on this now...

We're hitting -15C (5F) right now at night and early morning.

My car is exposed outside... no trouble since I got the remote starter.... start it few minutes before getting ready and dressed to get out and starts everytime.

So I suggest investing in a remote starter (which comes with an approved passlock bypass by default for installation) if you have cold weather it's a nice thing to have anyway.

I decided to go without wheel covers... I'll see about coming up with a picture finally... be patient.

No need for remote start here, doesn't get cold and I've had no issue with no starts. So I suggest not investing in a remote start for any of my cars.
