I have a 2000 SL1. When I start the car it initially idles at around 2000 rpm. When I drive and come to a stop it will idle at around 2000 to 2800 rpm then after about 10 seconds will slowly drop down to around 650 to 700 rpm, what I consider a normal idle. This is a constant problem that has been happening for about the last month.Any ideas?

probable cts issue remove the connector and check for corrosion on the pins they sometimes crack and leak into the connector or just reading low

I had high idle issues with my sl2, changed the throttle positon sensor and the coolant temp sensor and my car is super quiet now.
