Question Fuel pump/ gage Ls200

When i fill up my 2002 Ls200, the gas gage only fills up to 3/4 on the gage. What does it take to fix. How much what parts and is it worth it?

Sending unit/pump is in the tank
Call dealer for price
If you want to fix it, it's worth it

Itll cost you if they have to go in tank.
Side note: this will sound odd, but I had same problem with my Mercedes (has two sending units), guys on my Benz forum told me to try it and not call them crazy. What they said was to keep filling up with Chevron religiously to see if it would fix it. I didnt believe them, but tried it. It took about 3 months, but fuel guage back on target. Mustve cleaned some corrosion off of the sending unit. Thought I'd pass it on.
