Engine mount replacement
#1
Problem:One of my engine mounts is worn and needs to be replaced. I get
a slight vibration when i am idling. I had a a dealership look at it
and they said it is the T/A engine mount. I dont know which one that
is. Is there a way I can replace that at home without taking it
somewhere?

Easy to replace all you need is a floor jack, a small piece of two by four and a 15 mm socket. Place the wood flat on top of the jack to distribute the weight and jackon the oil pan. Not much just enough to see the motor start to rise about 1/4 in. This takes the load off the top mount. The mount can now be removed five 15 mm nuts. Mount is at the end of the valve cover above the drive belt. When dropping the new mount in you may have to jack the motor a little to get the holes to line up due to sag from the old mount. Thats about it, bolt it on, drop out the jack and your done.
