I HAVE A 2000 LS1.WHEN I START THE ENGINE BOTH ELECTRIC FANS COME ON WIDE OPEN.THIS HAPPENS EVEN WHEN THE ENGINE IS COLD.

Welcome to the group Psyco. Have you tried changing anything out yet? It could be the temp sensor.

I'LL TRY THAT.THE TEMPERATURE GAUGE DOES READ 1/4 HOT ON START UP AND DOESN'T MOVE NO MATTER HOW LONG THE ENGINE RUNS.
