aftermarket ignition installation

Hi, I don't know a whole lot about ignition systems. I purchased an msd 6a box (off ebay) the guy said it works with 4 cylinders. Is this possible to install on a 92 sl2? the instructions say nothing pertaining. Maybe someone who knows can help. I know all you turbo guys have something to say.
