AC Problem

Default AC Problem
When I turn on the AC in my 2006 Ion, the idle immediately drops to 500 RPM and then surges erratically between 500 and 800. AC works but surge is very disconcerting. Any suggestions?

Find someone with a full set of A/C gages, hook 'em up to your car, and post the pressure readings here .......
