My 99 Saturn SL2 has just in the last two days began not wanting to start. I had to try 3 times yesterday morning to get it to start, and then after that it would start the first time but take it a bit to get going, if that makes any sense. Any help on what this might be?

It is a turn and clicking. I had someone boost me off, and it started right up. He then had to put some water in my battery. It ran ok, I drove all over town it ran for over 30 min. An hour later it started again. 3 hours later it wouldn't start at all. The bell dings when I open the door, whethermy key is in ignition or not. Guess it's stuck. So could this be my battery? I am trying to find someone to take it and get it tested for me. I had a new starter put on a few months back.

You can take your car to auto stores that will test the battery/alternator system free to find out whether your battery is good or not. You can also check if the belt is loose by pressing down between the pulleys. Belts are always taut and if you can depress the belt easily then there may be a worn belt tensioner that's allowing the belt to slip which can affect battery charging from the alternator. If your battery is older than 4 years it may be time for a replacement.

It was the battery. I've only had this car for a year and half, but man that battery looked like it had been on there for a long, long time. It was pretty bad.
