okay so i recently purchased a 1997 Saturn SC2 from out of state. my state requires a front and back license plate but the state the car came from did not. therefor it has no front plate bracket/holder. upon looking at the front bumper, though, i can not seem to figure out how a standard universal plate bracket is supposed to mount there, short of drilling holes in my bumper. there are small holes up under the grill area but are those for a plate bracket because no plate bracket i ever saw would fit there.

how can i mount a universal plate bracket on my front bumper, or do i need some kind of factory OEM bracket???

thanx

The stock front plate mounts to the bumper via holes drilled into the bumper..........Without seeing your universal bracket I'd have no idea how it mounts. Edited by: sw2cam

You are going to have to drill two small holes in your bumper in order to mount it. I own a 97sc2 and that is the only way I have been able to mount the plate.
