hi, im new. sorry if this is answered somewhere else, but i did a few quick searches to check it out and couldnt find anything. my car just failed emissions because my mass air flow circuit shows low input.


what do i do to check this? i am not a car guy at all. also, i am broke and cant afford to wast 75$+ to have someone tell me its something i could have fixed myself. thanks for any help.

 

Well, I would try to float a loan and dredge up enough loose change to get me a new Mass Air Flow sensor, and while I was at it, I would look over the wiring to make sure it is not shorting out to itself or thechassis of the car
