I get oil in the spark plug shaft so I know I need a new valve cover
gasket...I have never done this kind of work before on any gaskets so
my main question is...

What's better...using RTV silicone or finding somewhere that sells the premade gaskets?
Anyone have any pictures of how the silicone is supposed to be applied and where? How thick to make the lines?
If I buy the gasket do I also need to use silicone?
I think that's it for now. Thanks for any help!

Get the preformerd one. Preferably the one from the dealer. Go to saturnparts.net or saturnparts.com to buy OEM parts.

Also, amke sure to follow install instruction exactly. Correctly tighten all bolts in the proper sequence and torque specifications. Too loose and it will leak, too tight and it will leak and/or the bolts will break.
