Yep, thats a TwinCam engine. Why is the exhaust manifold all wet?

The only way foroil to leak way up there is due to the valve cover gasket leaking. Real easy to fix. The gasket it roughly $25 at the dealer and requires a 10mm socket and ratchet to replace. A torque wrench is helpfull too. Too loose and it will leak, too tight and it will leak. And you'll break the bolts. And if its leaking that bad from the front, its gotta be just as bad in the spark pug wells. And that would cause it to run pretty bad. It's very possible that you can fix your problem yourself and save $1175 in the process.Edited by: Low Saturn |
