The problem with these cheap stereos is that they are 7" x 4" , not the standard size. unless you know this you wouldn't think to buy an install kit for a 7" x 4" stereo. I happened to get the wrong one but was able to trim out what was not needed with an x-acto knife, trimmed off the 1/8 th lip from the inside diameter and the radio fit just perfect.

i have a few complaints about the stereo , made in china, generic no name. the radio beeps when turned on for a few minutes then stops. but does it every time the radio is turned on, the clock is in military / 24hour time

other than that the radio has great sounds, the screen is big and more sensitive than my sons JVC stereo

radio cost me a whole $53, $10 for the install kit, the backup camera came with it. has USB, AUX, TF for micro sd card, bluetooth, plays all video and audio formats. No cd player or dvd player but you can watch them using a USB flash drive.

I had an aftermarket radio that I'd put in a Nissan pickup I had many years ago that did the same damned thing. It made the noise for about 5 seconds after I'd turn it on and then for about 5 seconds after turning it off too. It didn't bother the kid that bought the truck from me, though. He thought it was "cool" and I made about $1,200 off him, so we were both happy! Military time doesn't bother me, I've been using it for almost 35 years.

I've been thinking about doing the exact same thing to a couple of our vehicles. How much trouble was it to make this work? Where and how did you mount the backup camera? How did you run the cable to it?
You said there was an install kit and that things needed to be modified to fit. Was it just the install kit that got modified and was it because you got the wrong install kit (or they don't sell the correct one for this Saturn)?
Questions, questions, I know but driving a rental for a week that had the new style radio and backup camera left me wanting one for my own rides.

No issues connecting the radio it was just the annoying buzzing every time you start up the car, lasts about 2 minutes, The back up camera I mounted above the Licence plate had to drill a 1" hole to mount it properly. The wire was run under the carpet and console to the radio. got a radio conversion pigtail instead of cutting wires. the main issues will be ordering the right size radio . the one i got is about 1/4" bigger than the standard touch screen radio so I had to modify the bezel that frames the radio. these radios come with pictures and tells where to connect it. not hard just tricky .
