New woofer that wubs
Finally got my new subwoofer. I bought it used, but its a great speaker. Its a 12" Kicker L7 with a 600 watt kicker amp. it is loud. very loud.
What I had in there was below average. They sounded decent but if you turned them up it was like listening to mush. every frequency got garbled. So basically, stay away from SPX, they're cheap - and thats about it (youll see them in pepboys for like $100 - they claim 800 watts but truth be told thats what the speakers can take, the amp it comes with maybe puts out 200 if your lucky). if you threw a nice amp onto them they would sound ok- but you would probably tear the speakers apart after so long)

Ill post a picture of the sub in the car tomorrow. It is in, i just forgot to take pics. Twas enjoying the wubs too much
